Troubleshooting
| If this happens… | Do this |

| Claude says it can't find Simetrik | Run simetrik doctor in your terminal. It tells you what to fix. |
| Claude asks you to log in | Run simetrik login and try again. |
| Claude doesn't understand what you ask | Be more specific. Instead of "update the reconciliation", say "update the payments reconciliation so it also matches by reference number". |
| An action stopped halfway | Claude will tell you what happened. If not, run simetrik doctor and share the output with support. |

The command says "not found": restart your terminal. If it persists, run simetrik doctor to diagnose.
Authentication errors: run simetrik login to refresh the session.
Something isn't working: run simetrik doctor. It runs ~10 checks (binary, PATH, configuration, authentication, network, terminal, updates, disk, completion, proxy) and tells you what to fix.
To report a problem: run simetrik doctor and share the output with the Simetrik support team.

Updating the CLI
Keep the CLI up to date with a single line:
simetrik updateIt pulls the latest available version. If you have the Claude skill installed, it updates that in the same step too.
